The snow is back....... in Scotland. I thought we were finally over it but I guess some parts of the country are not. 

Being a Glaswegian (although now living in Leeds) I've seen a fair amount of snow in my time but not in March. 

Here is the photo that my mother sent this morning when she was sent home from work. It took her 2 and a half hours for what should have been a 20 min drive. Glad she is home safely but its treacherous there. Stay safe everyone!

I see these automatic door signs everywhere. Maybe because I'm in the safety signs industry I notice them more.

I was coming out of Sainsbury's the other day and they had 6 of them on one set of doors. I then nipped into town and the car park doors had 4 (in pink), the shopping centre had 4 of them on one set of doors. Now that you have read this, you may notice them more when you are out and about.

Our self-adhesive signs have a permanent adhesive but fixing them correctly to ensure that the adhesive takes is vitally important. The corners and sides must be pressed down and the surface they are applied to must be dry, dust and grease free as well as smooth and flat.

Fire 'stay put' fire action notices are proving to be a very popular line particularly with apartment blocks, student accommodation and housing associations. We offer then in 2 sizes: A5 and 210 x 310mm and you can get them in self-adhesive vinyl or 1mm rigid.

Recently a customer required a number of these signs in a prestige polished silver effect with some customised wording added. They were very happy with the results.
